The story of this website and neen started years ago - when Miltos came to the second dinner event I did in Milano and we met and he asked me to do a website for neen and told me all about it. Since than we had a lot of love and hate things happening but I sort of avoided doing the website. Everybody who met me knows I need VERY special conditions to create and I just did not have those. Years passed and finally I've done it.

First you have to understand what neen is. Also I am sure you will never be past this stage so there is no second stage.

There is plenty of information about neen online and in the press and everybody has its own version of neen yet these are all same - best way to understand neen is to meet a neen person and spend some time - a week or a month - around them, pay for their drinks and maybe even buy them some clothes. You should compliment them on their work and just be a pal. You can also read the manifesto which Miltos wrote ages ago and I think has nothing to do with neen, its just old shit, but I guess he is sentimental about it.

I am afraid that all above sounds too much like inbred people doing bullshit but it should not be that, even though Miltos LOVES the lists (neenstars **: Andreas Angelidakis, Tobias Bernstrup, Joel Fox, Gnac, Carbonated Jazz, Miltos Manetas, Rafael Rozendaal, Nikola Tosic, Mai Ueda, Steven Schkolne).
